Description
Supervises up to twelve part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the computer department. Works in collaboration with bookstore management and the computer buyer to maximize business opportunities and achieve sales goals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities to include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; assigning and directing work, appraising performances; rewarding, coaching and disciplining employees. Resolves customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Implements operational plans to achieve computer department’s budgeted goals, ensuring that proper policy and procedures are followed.
- Works closely with computer buyer to control inventory as well as determine merchandise presentation.
- Hires, terminates, and disciplines computer department employees, sets work priorities, conducts staff meetings, coordinates training, evaluates performance and directs work assignments to ensure effective operations.
- Assists in the supervision and support of bookstore programs, promotional activities, and events.
- Ensures timely and effective implementation of company customer service program.
- Ensures compliance with security regulations and internal controls (e.g. cash handling, loss prevention, etc.)
Education and Experience
The minimum requirement for applicants is a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; plus 5 years computer sales experience and 2-3 years of management-related experience, and/or training in the computer industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills are required.
Physical Demands
Must be physically able to operate office equipment such as computers, copy machines, and facsimile machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and/or walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects; key pad or papers, book and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to move, lift or carry heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds. Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral visions, distance vision, and color vision for extensive reading and interpretation of reports and documents.

Description
Under routine supervision, performs high volume data entry to maintain Kronos Human Resources Information System database. Responsible for accuracy, efficiency and retrieval of data; provides general clerical support to the Human Resources department.
Responsibilities
- Performs data entry using database and spreadsheet commands and prepares general office documents with appropriate business formatting.
- Maintains a system for organized information collection and accurate data entry.
- Performs data verification routines in accordance with company procedures, seeks clarification and informs supervisor of discrepancies.
- Generates, formats and prints reports according to established guidelines.
- Assists with other department functions, to include preparing documents for distribution, answering phone calls, taking pictures for I.D. cards and filing.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of one year experience in high volume data entry, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Prior experience with an HRIS database and knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources are required; Kronos HRIS experience is preferred. Must be a self starter with the ability to work independently; demonstrates effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

Description
Under general direction of the Financial Services Director, processes, analyzes and maintains accounting/financial records.
- Collects, sorts, and compiles data using a financial accounting computerized system
- Verifies and reconciles financial information.
- Maintains subsidiary ledgers.
- Prints balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Prepares loan amortization schedules.
- Prepares journal entries, special worksheets; analysis and audit schedules.
- Reconciles fixed assets and inventory reports.
- Completes capital project and account reconciliations; prepares monthly analysis
- Corresponds with vendors, resolves disputes, and makes adjustments to vendor accounts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
BS degree in Accounting or related professional degree preferred plus 3-5 years of related experience to include knowledge of general accounting principles; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires understanding of financial record-keeping methods, procedures and practices; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; able to work with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; demonstrates ability to communicate and work well with others to explain and resolve accounting issues; able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and multi-task.
